Hey GOALIE! Noah started the game as goalie and did a great job keeping the ball out of his goal! He had fun time on defense and did a nice job at passing the ball. We had a little confusion after half-time when the teams switched goals... he covered nicely by running ... we will work on that for the next game!

Wow! Time is really flying! We spent our last offical weekend of the summer in Geneva, one of my favorite towns about 30 minutes from where we live. Hayden really enjoyed being out in his stroller so he could check everything out and keep an eye on his big brother!
Hayden had his two month check up last week and is tipping the scales at 14 pounds and 24 inches. Although he was a little upset when he received his first (half) round of shots, he did a great job talking with our doctor and showing off his biceps while doing push-ups!
Noah started preschool and is really enjoying being there three days a week in the afternoons. He has been learning about shapes and has been bringing home the most adorable drawings of stick people at the Olympics! He even drew me a flower!!! AWWW!

Hello everyone!
We have had a wonderful time watching Hayden grow these past couple of weeks! He is holding up his head like a pro, smiling and getting excited when we play with him and starting to talk with us.
Noah has been a big help with Hayden, but has also enjoyed spending big boy time with "Honey" at a cubbies game, breaking in his new clubs at the local driving range and taking regular bike rides into our downtown area.
Hopefully everyone has received their baby announcements. We had a friend from Iowa create them especially for our family and were thrilled with the results.
We hope everyone is doing well! We miss you guys!

Hayden is three weeks and doing great! He is more alert and starting to coo at us! He had his two week Doctor appointment last Friday and he is up to 9 1/2 pounds and 21 inches long! Here are a couple of pictures from this week!
Noah and Devin participated in the Bix road race in the Quad Cities this past weekend. Noah "smoked" Grandpa who ran with him in his Jr. Bix race and Devin had a great time running with his brother Bryon! Hayden and I sat this one out, however, I have been informed of a stroller race for next years race!
Hayden and I came home on Tuesday morning from the hospital and have been doing great! Hayden is a great sleeper, very mellow and has been nursing really well. Noah has been a wonderful big brother. Grammie and Grampie have been in town giving us a hand with the boys and keeping us well fed! Here are a few pictures from the last week! Thank you for all of your well wishes!!! OXOXOX N
Hello Everyone,
Hayden was born Monday, July 14, 2008, at 1:26 am; he is just over eight pounds and measures eighteen and one-half inches. Nicole and hayden are resting and doing well.

Just to give a quick update, the baby was due on Wednesday, July 10 and is still content napping in mommy's belly! We have had a few false starts, but hopefully he will decide to make his appearance soon. Luckily we have Grammie (Marsha) in town giving us a hand! We hope to have some new baby news soon! :)
We hope everyone had a safe and fun Fourth of July!!! We had a nice relaxing cookout complete with sparklers and Noah enjoyed an early birthday present from Grampie and Grammie! He is excited about being old enough to drive and can't wait to get back on his Hummer!
We are still waiting for the baby...after many days of contractions he has decided he prefers to stay in my tummy (he must notice the loud noises constantly going on around him). Hopefully he will change his mind soon because we are all ready to meet him!
Last month, Noah and I had a wonderful visit with Mom & Dad and Auntie CeCe! It was great spending time with our family and friends. We had a wonderful time with my Aunts and Noah had fun playing mini-golf with Casey Kyle! Sadly, there were a few friends we didn't get the chance to see, but we hope to be back soon with our little guy! Here are some fun pictures on our slide show of our time together.
